Among many acquisitions being deemed surplus at the Maryland Rail Heritage Library: a run of the bimonthly Pacific Electric Magazine, 1947-1955 (give or take), seeming complete. More MIGHT lurk in storage, but we haven't found them yet if they do.

Is there any transit museum archive out West in need of these spare copies before they're consigned to an eBay auctioneer? Available cheap/free (cost of shipping and packing) to qualified, non-profit transit or transportation archives who may need them. Contact me off-forum (via the contacts available below) for inquiries.

Hi - I am interested in the PE Magazines for our on line PE Archive. I am part of the Pacific Electric Railway Historical Society, www.PERyhs.org. We currently have over 1500 images on line available for viewing at any time. These magazines would be a great help in solving some location issues and route closing dates. My name is Steve Crise, please contact off list at scrise@aol.com. My cell is 310 963 9265. I'm in the Los Angeles area, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

The periodicals are now considered "spoken for" and are awaiting transfer to a new home on the West Coast.

I thank the various respondents.
