Post subject:  Sand tower available to good home

The Monticello Railway Museum of Monticello, Illinois, has available, free to a good home, a used sand tower. This sand tower was last used at the GM&O engine terminal in Bloomington, IL. We have determined that it is surplus to our needs, and rather than scrap it would prefer to see it go to someone who is willing to use it for its intended purpose. From the bottom of the legs to the bottom of the sand tank is 25' 6", and the tank proper is 12' long. Receiver is responsible for arranging shipping and loading. Feel free to PM me if you have any interest or questions.
