| Post subject: | WTD: American Freedom Train photos, around Tallahassee FL |
I'm looking for photos of the American Freedom Train during it's daytime ferry run to from Jacksonville to Tallahassee, Florida and back (which might have been a night move) as well as any shots of it on display alongside Doak Campbell Stadium at FSU. Yes, I've already done the blindingly obvious things, such as Google, the AFT website, contacting historical societies and the first things you'd think of. I used to work for the newspaper there in the 90s, so I know for sure they never kept any photos. The Florida State Archives has nothing, nor does any of the collections, libraries, museums in the Tallahassee area. if you know of actual photos of the moves to there and back as well as on display there, please PM me! |
