New England Steam Corporation has scanned over 700 diagrams and blueprints pertaining to Maine Central and Boston& Maine steam locomotives of many classes. These diagrams are varied and include drawings for fabricating domes on boilers, drawbar dimensions, rods and bushing, mounting brackets for headlights and tender lights, dimensions for Baker valve gear applications, couplers and pockets, crank pins, Okadee blow off valves, stack extensions, truck and locomotive equalizers, water glass installation, various valves, stoker parts, trailing trucks, lubricator piping, gaskets, custom locomotive tools, and many other parts.
These do not represent nearly all the parts of any one steam locomotive, but many parts are applicable to several locomotive classes of both railroads. This is an eclectic collection, scanned as PDF files and some tiff formats, in the original size of the drawing. This amounts to a total of 2.44 gigs, burned to a DVD.
A single DVD is available to interested persons for a donation of $50, made out to:

New England Steam Corporation
P.O. Box 302
Winterport, Maine 04496

Please indicate the Steam Blueprint DVD and give your complete name and postal address.

All donations are tax-deductible. These funds go toward the restoration of Maine Central #470.

On the the "Okadee blow off" valve drawings/drawings, are they fully dimensioned?

What other aftermarket appliance / appurtenance parts, (parts common to all gauges and sizes of locomotives), are on the DVD? Are the drawings fully dimensioned with all necessary views to allow their the parts to be replicated?

Thanks!

I have to review the diagrams, but these are the shop drawings, recovered from piles going to the dumpster. I'm fairly certain they are complete.
