The Northwestern Pacific Railroad Historical Society needs a Morris journal box that is designed for use with pedestals. It will replace another box that was broken when the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad roundhouse roof collapsed and landed on B&O coach 20. The B&O Railroad Museum donated the running gear of this car to the NWPRRHS for use in restoring our Central Pacific Railroad coach 29.

The attached photo is of one of the surviving boxes. The vertical ridges on the sides are for alignment in a passenger truck pedestal. Morris journal boxes for freight cars have top and bottom brackets with holes for bolts.

I could knock out a pattern using CAD and 3D printing. Then you'd be set and so would anyone else who needed one.

Just sayin'
