We're looking for two end-of-track bumpers or wheel stops. Could be the smaller half-moon cast type that bolt onto the rail (Nolan's, etc.) or the larger fabricated steel Hayes -type. If you have one sitting around, let us make a deal with you. The track suppliers have them , but they are all above $1k, and we need to be in the low-cost area. Or if you know of unused ones at a private industrial spur that could be purchased or donated, etc. we'd appreciate any help or leads! For Stewartstown Railroad, York County, PA.

Can you use the removable type that locks in place with a wedge? I have two of those that I'm not using.

Rick, yes, probably. Can you send a photo?
We have a track that dead ends about 6 feet from major state highway.
We mostly use it for motorcars and track equipment.
But would be good to have a stop there to prevent anything from getting pushed out into the street. Right now there is just a couple of joint bars with a bolt through them over top the rail!

Thanks!
DaveW.

For years our northern end was a tie bolted to the top of the rail head with threaded rod and plates. At some point a buffer was added but it is not bolted in place and is only held there by gravity.
