Wow, and on 10 acres. You could add a very nice 7-1/2" gauge live steam pike around the historic passenger car and depot-styled house. Very nice set up for the right folks.

If you only that's what it would cost down here in MA, LOL.

If you wanted any of the local live steam friends to visit....you would want to build the line to 7 - 1/4" gauge.

Yes, that might happen. Although the car has been remodeled on the inside for residential use, it still is on trucks and appears to basically have a sound body which means it might be attractive to rail museums in Rutland "territory". Therefore, it might behoove those museums to point out to the real estate that if a future buyer is not interested in the car remaining on the property, that a donation (or sale) to a museum might be a good alternative to outright scrapping.
