Post subject:  Wanted 5 x 9 journal boxes

Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society (FVHRS) is in need of a set of four 5 x 9 journal boxes for the Interurban street car that we are restoring. They are for Brill 27-MCB trucks. Casting numbers 3D42, B360 and B360 (this one has a Brill logo on it) fill fit.

Ed Metka, Johnstown, Pa probably has them. Or Ron Jedlicka, Buckeye Lake, Ohio.

Lyons Industries, Ebensburg, Pa could make them.....

Just a couple of "off the cuff" ideas.....

Would the boxes off of a GE 44 Tonner work? We just had 8 become available.

Does anyone have drawings for this type of journal box or a procedure for repairing them.
