g][img][/img][/img][/img]Hello. New here. Hoping someone might help me in locating a CP speed recorder. I worked for CP in there Chicago branch and was the service person that repaired, caliprated and did whatever was needed to make sure they passed whatever test was required. Spent quite a lot of time at the EMD plant in the Chicago area.
Looking to have one for a hobby room I,m building.
Any help would be great.

Thanks Russ

Found one. Thank you for all your help

If you can locate a CF-7 diesel that's being scrapped, you should find a CP speed recorder in the cab. Maybe check with LTE in McDonald, Ohio. They buy and sell locomotives.

National Railway Equipment (NRE) in Silvis, IL, has some available. Don't know the cost, but email Trent Briggs at: T.Briggs@nre.com, he should be able to help.
