What is wrong with the part? Potentially, we could make a replacement.

Agreed - a decently sized drop of a similar alloy, a lathe and a Bridgeport and simply by tinkering a bit you can have the part reproduced in a couple hours. Find a local guy with a manual machine shop who likes one-off projects.....

One of the triple valves that we have for the four EX BCER Interurban cars we own is missing the two pieces shown in the pictures. We have two for the cars running and the other two are being restored. So basicly we need the small valve and spring for one of the tripple valves and would like to locate a spare complete triple vallve to have on hand incase of a break down when we are operating.

Thanks

I havent been inside a M triple valve in a long time. But i think that part relies solely on the rubber seat to seal. I would look into having the part made by a machine shop. And any competent spring manufacturer can make springs. Strassburg Railroad in PA has a good machine shop.

14995 was used in a number of different valves.

Have you checked with OERM? They have a very well-organized inventory of new old stock parts.
if they happen to have it and have more than a few of them, you could probably work out some kind
of sale or trade agreement. Getting a complete M2B from anyone is probably going to be more
costly.

Otherwise, as the other posters have indicated it is not a very difficult part to make. Gotta be
careful. On some of those 3-fluted check valves the part with the flutes unthreads from the main
body and that's what holds the rubber seal in. But on others it is one piece and the seal just pops in.
I've seen one of these destroyed because someone thought it was the former but it was the latter!

Pc. 14995 is one piece, the fluted part does not unscrew.

Right, the rubber is inse-- wait, I'm hearing that I am mistaken and the rubber is renewable.

im sure, even back in the day, the rubber seat was made to be renewable, as it would be far cheaper and easiertthan to keep ordering valve assemblies.
