The Ballard Terminal RR is looking to sell it's Fairmont S2 speeder in order to purchase a larger car more suitable for our needs. The car has an ROB engine (water cooled cyl head) with belt drive. Good: -carbody in good condition -wheels in good condition -The engine runs and the car drives, has been used regularly -Car has been rewired (wiring in pictures is the old wiring) -new battery -3 strobes added (also not pictured) -shop built turntable/jacking system included -New coil (pertronix automotive style) -fuel pump added -carburetor rebuilt -engine side seals replaced -new alternator belt + spares installed -shop built tool platform for rear of car also included Bad: -Throttle shaft needs repacked (small vacuum leak) -suspect head gasket is leaking, oil in coolant/ slight loss of compression. We would like $2500, but the price is very negotiable and we are open to and interested in trades. Items we need: -larger car, preferably an "A" car with atleast a 4cyl engine suitable for towing a ballast cart and small excavator. If you have an A car you would like to trade we would add cash to equalize to the value of your car. -Ties, prefer brand new but will consider relay -track tools (track wrenches specifically) -tool carts -wheels/axles -100/112/115/136 lb relay rail All trades are contingent on the approval of management Contact Info Sam McGrath 206 403 0027 |

This "Northwestern Motor Car 561" should fit your needs I think. It has an old Ford V8 for power and is beefier than your average motor car. Also located a short ferry ride away. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/atq/d/clinton-northwestern-motor-car-man/6829475127.html |

Thanks, we actually went up and looked at that car a couple months back, it's a real neat car, it's just been sitting for so long it would need more effort to get it going than we're willing to put into it. Sam |
