The Overland Trail and Pacific Trail are joining the "Autumn Colors Express" ... they will be east of Chicago and available to your tourist line after Oct 27 ... no shipping from the West coast! Overland Trail, 1949 club lounge, is a beautiful car in nearly "museum quality" condition with 39 seats (24 seats at tables: 16 original "dinette" seats, 8 additional seats at two removable tables). Pacific Trail, 1950 44 seat chair. Very nice "mid century" car currently configured with 40 seats and space for food service. Gently converted former men's room into kitchen (reversible). Our plans have been to convert chair section into table car or lounge ... looking to meet the needs of our next customer. Both cars combined offer 79 additional seats. Looking for shortline/tourist railroad for new home ... will consider all offers for lease. If interested in purchase, both for 500K. Both cars Amtrak certified, generator equipped, excellent windows/restrooms, modern A/C with baseboard heat. Some freeze protection (more would be needed for extreme winters). Wheels under both cars in "mid life", Lounge has all APEE (tread brake), chair with two APEE and two old style Timken grease bearing axles (disc brake) .
