Former AT&SF 2865, built by Pullman in 1947 is being scrapped in Atchison, Kansas.

Any and all parts are available. Let me know what you need and what it is worth to you. Effort will be made to save parts, would rather see stuff go to use than scrap.

Should you have a burning desire to possess the entire car, that is a possibility, but would have to happen ASAP.

Hi Jason:

Is the fluting still available from this car?

Is there any particular reason it was consigned to scrap, like frame damage?

Or is it simply a case of "it needs to go yesterday and scrapping's the fastest way"?
