I have one, and maybe a second, 1957 Cummins HBI6 engine removed from a 50ton GE. Both engines ran pretty good when removed. They were replaced with newer engines because the railroad wanted a more powerful, efficient locomotive that is easier to get parts for. There is no water pumps, flywheel or flywheel housings on the engine. Has PT fuel pump.
Pickup in Michigan is preferred, but I can ship it if the buyer is patient. I will have to build a heavy duty pallet for it. Asking $1000 or make offer/trade for rr signals?

$500 per engine. Somebody needs one for parts or restoration.

One is spoken for. $500 gets the other engine. If there is a non proffit that needs this engine contact me and we can work something out.

If you come across one or more non-turbo 855-L1's, let me know. Thanks!
