Wonders how long it’s been since anyone put out a help wanted ad for a Red Cap? Years? Decades?

Also, we have an opening for an air brake mechanic, someone who has experience with, or is willing to learn how to repair K, P, and 6ET equipment. Air brake work would consume about 1/3 of a given year. The work is fairly light duty but requires a patient temperament. The successful applicant would spend the balance of the year performing other mechanical or operations work as their talents and the Rail Road's needs dictate.
