One of our members of DCNRHS has a Dewalt Radial Arm Saw, 14", old school, that he was willing to sell to us heavily discounted, but we can't use it. But anybody that does any type of woodworking would probably find this quite useful and valuable. I thought it worth sharing out here. He has to move later this year and so it has to go. He'd like it to go to a good home.

He estimates its worth $3,000 - $5,000 but will let it go for $1,000 to a not-for-profit. A tax letter for the difference would be a plus. Pick up is in Central Maryland (you have to haul it).

If you are interested, reach out to me and I can put you in touch with him.

Not to be a downer, but my side job & hobby is buying / refurbishing / selling / collecting old woodworking machinery. Radial arm saws are a dime a dozen these days. Personally I love them, as they are very good at certain jobs. However, most people use sliding compound mitre saws now, and so there is a glut of very good old large Radial arm saws out there.....

This saw is not worth anywhere near $3-$5K. Even $1k is way too much for one. A couple hundred bucks is a much more reasonable price.....
If the owner is trying to help out a museum etc.. just donate it for whatever tax receipt he can get.

Just my 2 cents....
Pete
