I’m looking for electric turntable tractor components including but not limited to:

- Open frame slip ring motor capable of around 25 hp or greater
- Turntable controller
- Resistor grids
- Drive gears

If you or an organization you know has components like these that are surplus to your needs, please comment below or send me a private message. I’m looking for antique components, pre 1950, not modern parts.

You could probably use an old streetcar or interurban controller. That's assuming it's the same voltage with would likely be 600 volts.

I have a barrel type crane controller of the same type that turntables used that could be available.

What power are you using? AC or DC? A slip ring motor is an AC motor but resistor grids and barrel controllers are for DC. You are going to want to put a rectifier somewhere and run your DC overhead to the center of the table then wire up the rest just like an old school DC overhead crane.

Come to think of it I do have a DC mill motor here too.
