Kelly, I'm sure that PRR 37002's nickname is shared with quite a few other locomotives out there also....LOL!

I've heard 1223 and 475 before but appreciate the rest of them. Nothing for 31?

Not to get too off topic but is the cab of 475 really that bad?

Because the backhead extends to just about the back of the cab, almost all the cab controls are positioned along the side of the firebox. I would imagine there's about 2 feet of space between the firebox and the cab wall.

I ran a 1950's switch engine that was named "Charlie Brown".

The nickname for Stathi Pappas' newly-restored 1909 HK Porter 0-4-0T Santa Cruz Portland Cement #2, is the "Chiggen," after its former use as a billboard for a fried chicken restaurant in the Fresno area. The Chiggen currently resides at the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad shops in Mineral, WA. Congratulations are in order to Stathi and his crew on this restoration achievement.
Here's the thread over in Interchange that includes discussion on the Chiggen: http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28753&start=75.
And here is the announcement on the first steam up of the Chiggen over on Trainorders: http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?10,3147292
