Post subject:  Lancaster & Chester #40 Photo Charter - Time Running Out!!

I'm not sure if this goes in the Classifieds or here, but I figure I'll start here:

Time is running out to purchase tickets for this awesome event at the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad! At least 15 more tickets need to be bought for this event to take place, and they need to be bought by April 15 - so any of you railfans that can make it, please sign up! This is an extremely rare event that you have the opportunity to go to, so please help us make it happen!

Description from the page above:
May 16, 2013

"The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad traverses the 16-mile route of the former Reading Company’s New Hope Branch in central Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This scenic line consists of multiple bridges, open fields, stations and other structures.

For our charter, New Hope & Ivyland 2-8-0 #40 will be re-lettered to its heritage “Lancaster & Chester” paint scheme and will pull a freight consist during the day. Because of crew schedules, we originally planned on running two half-day schedules like we did for the Valley Railroad Charter in May 2012, but after working things out with the railroad, we are now able to run both the morning and evening sessions on the same day.

The morning session will start off at sunrise and we’ll perform runbys throughout the morning. Once the morning session is over, we’ll return to New Hope for lunch. The 2nd photo session will start when the train departs in the afternoon and we will perform runbys through the evening and sunset. A night session will be held at Rushland Trestle. The photo train will not return to New Hope right after sunset, so everyone who participates in the 2nd session will have to stay for the night session.

We need 40 patrons signed up by April 15th in order to make the charter operate. The quicker patrons sign up, the better chance the charter will operate."
