Follow the above link to my photos from last month’s Historic Transport Preservation winter steam photo charter excursion on the C&TS out of Antonito.

Hard to pick the highlight of the trip; the snowplowing in snow-filled cuts, use of Flanger OJ, #489 in Flying Grande and wearing a plow, a rockslide, a K-36 without it’s spark arrestor, sunrise, sunset, full-moonrise.

A huge "thank you" to the entire train crew: catering to our every request, and allowing us railfans/photographers to play trains when most were not.
