Well, thanks to the contributions of Robert Sweet from New Zealand, we now have 10,003 steam locomotives with photos on www.steamlocomotive.info. I am amazed.

Until recently, I wouldn't have believed there were that many steam locomotives still in existence.

To be precise, we now have photos of 10,128 steam locomotives. And don't have photos of 10,125. We're past the half way point, a day I NEVER thought I'd see. Hello Doug, I use your website a lot to plan my trips, but some of your country lists in Africa, the Caribbean (my areas of expertise) and the Middle East are missing either locos, pics or the infos need updating. For example, many countries show 0 locos when they in fact have some. I would like to help you update these. Should I send the info directly to you?
