Post subject: | BNSF Seattle Subdivision at Auburn Station |
I've uploaded a compilation of Sounder trains with F59PHI's at Auburn Station, plus a very short freight, back on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011. Taken with my old video camera, a JVC Everio GZ-MG37U (hard disk drive). Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfAjvoarVTA *Note that the actual reporting mark for Sound Transit is SDRX, not SDTX as the video captions state, and that the freight is led by #2905, not #2570 as the caption states (this is the engine's former number). Train #1, 4:19 PM, Main 1: southbound with #903. Train #2, 4:48 PM, Main 1: southbound with #911. Train #3, 4:53 PM, Main 2: northbound with #906. Train #4, 4:55 PM, Main 2: northbound one car freight with Auburn Yard switchers GP39E #2905 and GP39-2u #2781. The engines dropped off the hopper car in the siding to the north of the station and returned to the yard. #2905 was built in April 1965 as Frisco GP35 #720, to BN #2570, rebuilt in May 1990 to GP39E. #2781 was built in February 1975 as AT&SF GP39-2 #3639, then #3139, rebuilt in February 1987 as GP39-2u #3412, to BNSF. Train #5, 5:17 PM, Main 1: southbound with #908. |
