Any information regarding 765's ferry moves for the NS steam program? I'm looking to find out the dates and routing of the locomotive from Buffalo to Allentown, Allentown to Steamtown, and Steamtown to home. Info on these or any other moves is appreciated. Thanks!

Nothing has been released yet, but FWRHS is great about getting the information out.

I do know that after Steamtown, 765 will be stopping by the CVSRR for a few weekends of trips, THEN going home in early October.

Railserve indicates a ferry move out of Buffalo on 8/3. Any word on to where? What is the plan for the substantial gap in time between the Buffalo and Allentown trips?

That link seems to show a schedule for this upcoming week. Any ideas on exact routing on Monday & Tuesday or what the plan is for 765 for a couple weeks in Allentown?

With the upcoming weekend's action near, any word on the plan for the Monday 8/24 ferry move to Steamtown? Will they go over the same route via Jim Thorpe or will this be a run up the Bel-Del, B&P, to the DL at Portland?

Slightly OT, but does anyone have any great ideas of where to watch from? I know a guy who works for LGSR and he said that Jim Thorpe is going to be packed between the bike train, regular LGSR operations, and a street fair of sorts, and that's before the foamers (me) even lay eyes on the joint to catch 765. If at all possible I'd like to avoid Jim Thorpe.
