For some reason, this turning arrangement was popular in Italy; this example is at a place called Carbonia Cl, Italy. https://www.facebook.com/northshorescen ... =3&theater https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hp ... e=57B6F727 I have to admit, the time it would take to turn a locomotive on this, plus the cost of the trackwork involved (which includes four turnouts and four diamonds), would make a turntable an attractive option, even with the cost of maintaining the table. |

WOW.... sort of reminds me of trying to turn around my grandfather's 1968 Pontiac Catalina wagon a tight driveway.... |
