That's what the news people are calling the materials handling system at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

The term "book train" is certainly understandable, if a bit humorous; switching is apparently by means of transfer tables, including some that are vertical:

It certainly is an interesting system, even if it did cost $2.6 million.

Let's hope it works better than the Denver Luggage Handling system. I can't figure out why they were never able to make that one work, but from what I understand they've completely given up on it, and possibly even removed it?

Wow 2.6 mil for a glorified G scale layout with DCC??

Wonder who gets to clean the track when it gets dirty
