Post subject:  PRR car question

Hi,

as I am not so deep into cars I ask for your help concerning a quite odd-looking car which was pictured in a passenger consist in the SPV edition "The golden twilight of postwar steam Part 1, the Pennsy west end and its neighbours".

At minute 17.00, for those who have the CD and may be just happen to watch it, there is a train with new E-7 diesels departing from Englewood; the first car does not have the typical mail car apprearance to me but rather looks like a somewhat reinforced car "either to transport gold or prisoners" was my first thought - I may be wrong here. Can somebody enlighten me about the type of car?

Thank you,
Mike
