I am well aware that the AOSR is not open the the public or casual visitors. If one happens to be in the area and tries to take some pictures through the fence, is that tolerated or is one likely to be run off?

Viewed the site from the road that passes the site a few years back and had no problems.
Mind you, there wasn't a great deal to be seen, though I did manage some telephoto shots of diesels parked away from the roundhouse itself.

We are tentatively planning a group-sponsored return to AOS this fall. If you're interested, let me know.
