Hello,
Here are a series of websites and videos that contain information about the IRCA, FEGUA, and Ferrovias Guatemala. Some of these are social media websites and are sadly plagued as such. I recommend to refresh the Facebook links if a pop up appears stating you must join. I hope this will enlighten you as much as it has myself.
Thank you,
John

Thanks for the long list of links. There is a lot of information there. My main interest is the rail cranes used in the Americas.

Well, John, in my time, we had an Industrial Brownhoist diesel powered one. I can't give you the data you want, but I CAN tell you that we used it in 1993 to salvage one of the tenders from the Sumpter Valley articulateds, fishing it out from under a pile of banana car bodies, then setting it back on it's trucks. It went back to Baker City, where (I think) it is awaiting restoration along with engine #20.

The crane most likely is still in Guatemala City.

John,

Most likely it is. However, the ownership should be attributed to: FEGUA (this is a Spanish acronym for the Guatemalan government railway system).

From what I remember seeing in Central Doubles, 9021 was painted blue. Do you know if there were other cranes of the same class in Guatemala? There are 2 steam cranes in Zacapa along with some support equipment. Mr. T, do you know anything about them?
