As some of you may know, CSX has sold over 100 locomotives, reviewed 8000 miles of track for sale, closed 8 or more hump yards, and layed off thousands of employees. Is the once almighty railroad slowly going downhill to the point where it will go out of business?

According to a TRAINS Newswire article yesterday, MARC & VRE have seen a drop in their on-time performance and they are blaming it on increased CSX traffic. Here's the link, but if you're not a TRAINS subscriber you may not be able to view it due to a paywall.
