Just as a heads-up for the railfans on this preservation board: New Jersey Transit has painted 'heritage' schemes on three of its locomotives: in 'legacy' Jersey Central blue, five-stripe Tuscan red, and Erie-Lackawanna 'classic'. They did a particularly good and clean job of it. Apparently the engines will enter service tomorrow morning, and I expect quite a bit of foaming attention to show up on YouTube and similar services not long thereafter... |
