Why don't they run train air hose over the bearings so if they overheat they melt the hose and dump the air before the bearnig gets too hot? |

My guess is if the hose was close enough for a bearing to burn through, who's to say it wouldn't rub through first? Depending on how the bad leak is, you're bound to lose air, and it's gonna be a pain finding it. |
