Post subject:  Norfolk Southern Operations in Elizabethtown, PA (Lancaster)

Hi all,

I'm currently seeking information regarding Norfolk Southern Operations on the Keystone Corridor, specifically in the Elizabethtown, PA area in Lancaster County. In the borough, there is a small industrial track just down the hill from the Keystone Corridor that serves both the Mars plant and a grain mill, White Oak Mills. A few times a week I pass by White Oak Mills, and at least once out of those few times there is a covered grain hopper spotted on the tracks.

I was curious if anyone had any information regarding when NS spots this car and whenever they pick it up? I understand that most NS moves on the Keystone Corridor occur at night due to Amtrak's Keystone Service and Pennsylvanian trains getting priority.

Thank you for your help.
