Post subject: | Norfolk Southern Operations in Elizabethtown, PA (Lancaster) |
Hi all, I'm currently seeking information regarding Norfolk Southern Operations on the Keystone Corridor, specifically in the Elizabethtown, PA area in Lancaster County. In the borough, there is a small industrial track just down the hill from the Keystone Corridor that serves both the Mars plant and a grain mill, White Oak Mills. A few times a week I pass by White Oak Mills, and at least once out of those few times there is a covered grain hopper spotted on the tracks. I was curious if anyone had any information regarding when NS spots this car and whenever they pick it up? I understand that most NS moves on the Keystone Corridor occur at night due to Amtrak's Keystone Service and Pennsylvanian trains getting priority. Thank you for your help. -HW |
