The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is offering for sale one EMD GP-7 locomotive. This unit is inoperable and has friction bearing trucks. Locomotive can not be shipped on its own wheels. Some small components may be missing. TVRM expect to receive not less than net salvage value for this unit. Proposals to dismantle the locomotive on site will be considered but contractors must comply with any insurance and safety requirements of the Hamilton County Railroad Authority.
