Hello,

I am looking for anyone that maybe intrested or can help point me in the right direction on helping a friend sell a real 1930's Davenport locomotive. His father has recently passed away and I am trying to help him sell of some of his belongings. I guess it did run and there are some spare parts for it, but needing any info on how to get rid of something like this. It is located in Indiana and You can email me direct at cjfordyce@yahoo.com

Thanks

Ok,

Here some more info I was able to gather up. It has a Gas 6 cylinger Leroi Engine. It is a 30 ton unit and is a standard gauge. It will need to be restored but he does have some of the extra pieces to go with it. It was originally for International Harvaster of Ft wayne Indiana and is now located near waterloo IN. I now have some pictures of it, so you can email me direct if you are interested to the cjfordyce@yahoo.com

Thanks
Craig

Try putting it on ebay. Set a reserve that you are happy with and see what happens.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.
