With the focus on UP 4014, what is the status of UP 3985?

I thought I heard somewhere on a steam shop tour that they hoped to have it out by mid-late 2014, but don't quote me on that, and why is it taking so long?

Its in the roundhouse as it has been for well over a year, no work is being done on it or is scheduled.

Makes sense, what with 4014 next down the pipe.
That said, was there any issues with 3985 which made it easy for UP to decide to leave her cold and inoperable for the time being? I assume they'll keep her inside in Cheyenne for now?
It's a shame, though, that we'll probably never see a doubleheader of 3985 and 4014...

I had read somewhere (I can't remember if it was on here or over on Train Orders) that long-term UP wants to have all three up and running in time for the 150th Anniversary in 2019.

I agree that the current focus on the 4014 has pushed back work on the 3985, as I recall it was also said that work will not commence on the Challenger until after the Big Boy is finished.

Elaine: No, it's not debunked, it's totally bunk.
