What's most amazing is how much of this material is from Rails To Trails. I can't help but think something else is going on in New York and some other places for the trail people to be so antagonistic to the railroads that are there. Either that, or there are some people who just plain hate trains.

That's strange--the Adirondack trail people say trails have never been built with a railroad unless it was a former double track line. . .
