We have a semi complete set of wheel shop equipment available for sale. The equipment was purchased at auction several years ago and has never been set up. Plans are to scrap the items in 30 days +/- if we can't sell them. Prices are reasonable -- at or less than scrap -- we'd prefer to see them go somewhere where they'd be used but need to recover some of our costs. We have a Sellers wheel lathe, a Betts boring mill, axle magna flux machine, and a 400 ton press. Unfortunately, no axle lathe.

Please contact me through RYPN for more details.

May I suggest you post one more rather important detail? For those who don't know who "we" is, where is this stuff located?

What is the capacity of the wheel lathe, and can you assist in loading it?

Fair enough on both accounts. The equipment is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. We can provide information regarding crane, rail, and trucking options -- all 3 are readily available. This will be the third time we've loaded the equipment so technical support for how to pick it up and tie it down is available also. We have a small file with paperwork on some of the machines which we'll include. I will have to get the tape measure out to check the lathe -- I want to say 54", but I need to verify.
