Can anyone identify the passenger cars at the Main Street Station Casino in Las Vegas?

Over on the NGDF there has been a thread about the Colorado Midland. One post stated:
Quote:
Colorado Midland Private Car #100, the Cascade, survived for years in storage in Woody Creek, Co, and was finally sold to a person in Las Vegas. I believe that it has been restored and is at the Main Street Brewery in Las Vegas.

Looking at some Flickr on-line photos there seems to be a number of passenger cars there.
Here are a couple photos from Flickr showing the platform and cars:

There is/was an ex-Auto Train, nee-UP dome lounge, which according to Phil Dohmen, is located outdoors without a roof built overhead, although maybe that's changed (see source item 1e below for a photo).

UP #9000 to AT #900 to Robert Snow-Church Street Station as ROG #300 Rosie O'Grady's (Orlando) (1981) moved to Main Steet Station Casino as the Orlando Dawn (1985) Snow sold the Las Vegas casino to the Boyd Gaming Corporation (1987).

The Orlando location also had UP dome chair #7009 (AT #706), which was moved with the other car (Pullman 10S sleeper buffet lounge observation Monte Rosa) and the steam engine to the Florida RR Museum (Parrish) in 2012.

Besides the UP #9000, CM #100, and "Buffalo Bill's car", I don't have any notes on additional cars at the Las Vegas location, or however many there might be. Anyone have a full listing?

I wonder what the full history is of the "Buffalo Bill car", as the photo shows that the car did have AC installed. Can anyone verify that this is indeed the former private car of Buffalo Bill Cody?

Also, if anyone can provide additional info on CM #100, such as builder, year, Lot, and Plan, that would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Here is the thread on NGDF: Colorado Midland and Midland Terminal Railroads

One of the posts made today provided additional information about the cars in Las Vegas. The Colorado Midland car was moved a few years ago "up the street" from the Main Street Station Hotel/Casino.
See this post on the NGDF: NGDF

I found the new location using Google Maps street view. It is one block from the hotel with the two business cars under a canopy between the sidewalk and a parking lot. http://goo.gl/maps/8SPTd

The dome car is north of the Casino next to the hotel tower. See this view http://goo.gl/maps/yueiz

There's at least one other car possibly claiming to be Buffalo Bill's. It's in Nederland, CO. I'm no expert on either, but stumbled into the CO car's existence after a buddy had lunch there and posted it on Facebook. Does anyone know if it's history?

Looks like a double vestibule wood coach, lettered C&S #544. Looking at Jerry LaBoda's website, there are pictures of C&S wood coaches #545 and #547, but both are slightly different from the #544! #545 has an additional restroom window where there is none on the #544 (next to the sign, which I suspect is over an additional set of windows, for a total of 8, such as there are on the #545). The #547 also has 8 sets of windows, but has clerestory vents instead of windows. These 3 coaches could all have been built in the same Lot, just with different modifications during their service careers. I don't have any CB&Q diagram folios, so I can't tell you anything more than that.

Cars were discussed in another thread by the well-traveled Mr. Levin:

http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33661&p=180637&hilit=Las+Vegas#p180637

I believe the car painted as "Buffalo Bill's Car" at the casino is the former CB&Q business car Blackhawk. Inside the casino is a heavyweight Pullman.

Ah ha! The Pullman is the Louisa Alcott, a Plan #3416A 1DR-28 seat parlor, which was built for the RDG and sold in 1945 to PM. Wayner lists the car as later being converted to C&O instruction car #603. This car has not yet been discussed in the "Surviving Pullman" thread, so I'll cross post this info later today...

As for the CB&Q Black Hawk, this was the 1st of 2 Burlington business cars to carry that name, as posted in the comments for this photo by Marty Bernard: http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1244690

Bill Howes wrote:
Car is actually former CB&Q business car #92 (ex-PV "Black Hawk" built by Pullman in 1902 for Charles E. Perkins, chairman of the Burlington) acquired by Bill Howes and David Stare in 1966. Subsequently sold and now resides at Main Street Station Casino in Los Vegas, NV.
Bill Howes wrote:
We are dealing with two different cars. The "Black Hawk" that I acquired from the Burlington in 1966 was a wood car built by Pullman in 1902 (delivered in 1903) for Charles Elliott Perkins, former president (and then a director) of the CB&Q. Upon Perkins' death in 1907, the car was sold to the Burlington. It underwent various re-buildings by the Burlington and Pullman, including some interior modifications and installation of a steel underframe and side sheathing, electric lighting and air-conditioning. At times it carried the name "Burlington" and other times it was simply numbered "92". It was often assigned to the Q's president. The car was retired in 1965 or early 1966. Throughout, it retained its beautiful wood interior with the elaborate inlays typical of Pullman private cars of the turn-of-the-century. The car was in operating condition when I got it and we ran it on B&O, C&O and Western Maryland until I sold it in 1975. It has had several subsequent owners. At the same time the Burlington was selling Car 92, it was also selling (at a much higher price) its then-current "Blackhawk", the former Robert Peary. This, of course, was an all-steel car.

Now, back to the C&S wood coach...

I thought the #544 looked familiar...

I had to look through my photos to be certain, but I had been through Nederland, CO, back in 2009. The restaurant also has a wood caboose and a short wood baggage car lettered as being built by UP in 1872.

Besides the #544 in Nederland and the #545 in Trinidad, I believe there is another coach from this same group in Lyons, which is lettered as "Burlington, 1906". The car in Lyons is also in use as a restaurant.

I didn't get any good photos of the #544, but here's one of the baggage car:

Old thread revived.

It appears that the two cars were removed from the property in early January 2017.

The following link from a new posting on the NGDF: NNG Colorado Midland Car Moved:
Vintage Train Cars at Downtown’s Main Street Station Find New Home

One of the posters to this thread on NGDF said he called the scrap company and was told that "for a time the cars were housed at the company’s “yard” in Las Vegas. Eventually, where were moved to the family ranch about 60 miles north of Las Vegas."

I think I found the location of the "ranch."

Are there any cars left on the property in Las Vegas?
