 Post subject: Cast Iron Wheelsets, 33" 5 1/2 X 10 and 4X8 journals

Four cast iron wheels sets available, $150/ea, all are 33" diameter wheels, solid bearing;

- AAR 1941 wheels from American Car & Foundry, St. Louis. Wheels dated 2-16-44 and 3-3-44. 5 1/2 X 10 journals, little or no wear on tread or flanges.

- AAR 1941 wheels from Griffin Chicago. Wheels dated 4-22-43. 5 1/2 X 10 journals, little or no wear on tread or flanges.

- ARA 1920 Wheels, 1 from American Car & Foundry, Madison ILL dated 3-17-23, other from Southern Wheel Co. of St Louis dated 5-21-23. 4X8 journals, good profile on tread and flanges. - SOLD

- MCB 1909 Wheels from Griffin St. Paul, both dated 12-9-19. 4X8 journals, good profile on tread and flanges.

Hopefully these are of use and value to someone out there, if so let me know. Wheelsets are located about 30 miles west of St. Joseph Missouri.

Wheelsets are still looking for a good home....... your choice for the low, low price of $150 each, scrappers need not apply... Loading onto the conveyance of your choice included in sales price.

Yes, wheelsets are standard gauge. They came out of the ruins of the Rock Island Shops in Horton Kansas.
