You never said that it would be on the main lines, they could doublehead a trip at about 5 mph ;)

That would look like a Shetland pony on point for the Budweiser Clydesdales!

Someplace in my stack of old photos (pre-digital era) I have a photo of MRSR Porter 2-8-2 #5 and the SP 44449 nose to nose. Granted, they both have 8 drivers, but they're definitely not the same size, LOL!

It took 3 tank engines to pull a dead PM 1225 back @ TF2009.

0-4-0 Triple Header pulling Berkshire Pere Marquette 1225 at Train Festival 2009

Not sure IF FCC 75 "Hank" could do the job alone. Think he'll need some help to pull N&W 611

You think that was EPIC with 1225, now here's an ENCORE with LRR 110

Little River Railroad: Quintupleheader to Quincy

I'm sure FCC 75 & NW 611 will cross paths someday.

Enjoy! ^_^

Actually, one of the oft-repeated brags on 611 is how easy she is to pull. There are a lot of pictures of secretaries, NRHS board members and museum folks pulling her aong during her stay in the yards (they moved her, I believe, once a month to keep her limber.) So long as she's by herself, not on a train, Hank would be able to handle her without a problem.

I'd love to see this. Where did it happen?
