 Post subject: Davenport 0-4-0t at Erie Canal Village

Hello, I am looking for any information as to when this engine came from the Wm. Willock collection to Frontier Town,NY (photo) and the when it went to Erie Canal Village.Thanks in advance for any information or other photos.

Good information, Thanks!
My Uncle, Art Bensen, owned and operated Frontier Town for 31 years. The first and only steam power to operate there(the Davenport was only ever on display there) was a Porter 2-4-0 that came from Willock in the mid 1950's.

We used to camp across the street. I can remember in the 80's there was a a locomotive sitting in the parking lot. I might have some photos of it around some place but I have no idea where they might be. If they turn up I will try to post them

Forgive me if the topic has been covered but what is the current status of the Erie Canal Village railroad equipment? The village itself appears to have ceased operation yet remains more or less in tact.
