The car was part of year 1907 lot 3512 for the B&M RR, built by Pullman to their plan 2060A. We especially need structural drawings of the carbody so we can restore it faithfully.

The Contoocook Riverway Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so donations or proceeds are deductible.

Please help us ... the car is out in the open only protected by a tarp!

More information at:
http://www.contoocookdepot.org/the-1246.html

This is the coach that long-time RYPN readers will remember as being restored by David Woodbury and chronicled on RYPN. Unfortunatly, only the final two articles in his seven-installment series appear to be accessable:
http://www.rypn.org/articles/single.php ... 020350.txt
http://www.rypn.org/articles/single.php ... 015226.txt

Footnotes:
In part 6, the article refers to a wooden coach in Lunenburg, MA planning to be sent to the Old Colony & Newport railroad. That deal never materialized and the Lunenburg coach was destroyed. To my knowledge, nothing from that car remains except what parts David scavenged for his car. Ultimately, the Old Colony & Newport (Rhode Island) railroad has folded, and the line will be used (in part) by rail bikes in 2017.

In part 7, David does not indicate where the coach will end up. It was later placed on display at the Contoocook Depot (New Hampshire) where it (apparently) needs restoration once again.

You need to contact the Pullman Archive. O Anderson's father runs that.

O. will likely see this and chime in here soon.

Our "paper" archives will be the future railfans only hope. We (yes you too!) should endeavor to preserve all the info needed to allow them 100% accuracy in the building of their recreations.

Contact Ted Anderson at Illinois Railway Museum for access to their Pullman drawings.
