Hi,

As I recall it, it was painted a blue color but it has been too long. The one I recall was a lot heavier but again, I've not seen it in years.

It was more like Georgia Power 97 now at Southeastern Railway Museum.

But with a saddle tank IIRC. I first saw in in 1973 when I started attending GA Tech. It was painted green all over then.

Hi,

I do not recall seeing her but add a pair of drivers and she's about what I recall seeing (all green though). The scrap yard own wanted a steamer but was not a rail fan or historian.

Doug, I think that was the Poss Iron Works 0-4-0T. It's been probably 25 years since I last saw her....... and the Poss works was shutting down and moving away at that time.

One thing that has never been made clear is whether Jvtrains was asking how to get title to a particular locomotive or was he asking where he could get a free locomotive.

Now that I have the name, I remember it more clearly. Thanks. Dave.

Look for locomotive/locomotives for sale or other like you would get with people or a city/government wonting to scrap or sale a good look , not looking for working order looking for rebuild /restoration locomotive .
