Hi,

Does anyone have information on the current status of the Baker Junction Railroad Museum in Bloomington, IN? The last update I could find was from 2016, and it appears that the museum is still facing possible closure due to the city wanting to redevelop the land it sits on. I haven't visited the museum before but hopefully I can soon just in case the politicians win.

I tried to find out more about this operation since I never heard of it. Found a Facebook for a Haunted Train...

No official web site I could find. No recent news stories in Google search. Did find an odd listing on RoadsideAmerica.com that summarizes thus:

Quote:
Disabled vet Johnny F. Baker struggles to transform his old train station into a museum. Has a "Time Castle," a haunted house/haunted train, and hand-lettered signs declaring the crimes of its neighbors and Smithville's bureaucracy.

And then there's this sign:

But I can find no pictures of any trains.

Friendly place! From the street view on google maps, looks like a few rusted out box cars and a caboose or two. Might want to get a tetanus shot before you visit.
