Accidentally found this video of a "first freight" by this shortline / tourist line. I don't know a thing about the A&A except what the Wikipedia entry says.

Question to stir the pot: If you start hauling freight on your tourist pike, does the FRA hold you to a higher standard? I have heard Mr. MacDowell talk about "FRA lite" for museums, so just wondering.

It's a neat little road, with some imaginative events.

Yup. You'd be under full oversight by FRA as a common carrier.

There is only one A&A; the Arcade & Attica. This is the ALLN.

Well, actually, there can be several A&A's; abbreviations like these make more sense than reporting marks in the non-railfan press. If you want to get technical with reporting marks, then there are no A&A's. Allentown & Auburn is ALLN and Arcade & Attica is ARA.

Steve's right. Get a mix of New Englanders together and ask them what road the B&A was. Reporting marks won't settle the argument. ;-)
