The photo was taken with inside-the-building lighting. Wait until it is out in the sunshine. Then we can make a judgement.

You have to really tip your hat to the fine folks at IRM. I have been a member for years, but have to really thank the volunteers that work tirelessly on these projects. The internal combustion department has been making one home run after another for the last several years. This is not unique, the passenger car department, freight cars, bus, trolley busses, steam shop, building & grounds, transit, all have had huge successes. In getting back to the internal combustion department, look at the list of restorations in the last decade or so.

I added a little bit more information on you're list. To be honest this is one of the best lists that I have seen for all of the Gas/Diesel locomotives that IRM has in its collection

What is the plan for Dardanelle & Russellville 14 EMC? It sure would be great to see a Winton run, It is totally do-able with the right people. It should be a special occasion kind of thing, but it can be done..

Makes sense to me. I always loved the CRI&P’s bankruptcy blue.

I’d like to ask a question about the Milwaukee Road E9A’s. What color will they be painted in once they’re both restored. UP Armour yellow?

Yes; both units were delivered in Armour yellow and remained in that livery until retirement.

Thanks for the updates to the IRM list! This is really an exciting list and time for this exceptional museum! Again I tip my hat to the fine folks who have worked and continue to work so hard to make magic happen again and again! I am so excited to see some of the projects move forward, and we all need to celebrate what has been accomplished!

I forgot to add that one to the list. As far as I know, that last time I have seen it, it was in Barn 9. I don't think it is in operable condition.
