Nice work, but I'm a little disappointed that no openings / windows were left to allow the passengers to see all that beautiful truss work. It seems a missed opportunity for a teaching moment. I would have figured some Lexan windows mid-span on the interior sheathing would both keep the weather out and be invisible in photos of the train crossing the bridge.

Pictures from the last month of work. Most of the pictures show installing the bridge sheathing and trim. There are a few pictures of the tie rods being installed in the deck and fire proofing being sprayed on the bridge. So how do they get the bridge to the site? I would think it would have been assembled in situ?

We've hired house movers. The bridge is scheduled to go in place this fall. The move itself should be very easy via a state road and into the site on a short and wide portion of the road bed.

Construction in situ ould have been far more difficult.

Ah, that makes sense; I couldn't see you putting it on a flatcar and hauling it to the site via rail! So, I assume some carefully poured footings will be in place and a crane will "drop it" into place. You guys have done some amazing things already. IF I'm ever "back east" your RR is on my Bucket List!
