I saw a video about moving a diner, a dome and a sleeper to the museum in 2011.

There is nothing on their web site about the cars. Is there any recent news about them? it appears they need a lot of work.

Ted -

I think that this is the outfit that acquired some former B&O wagon top boxcars from a company in Ohio a number of years ago. Have never been able to find out about those cars. There's nothing on their website about them.

Are these passengers cars from Orlando Station?

Yes, the 3 passenger cars and ex-Frisco 0-6-0 3749 were donated by the City of Orlando and moved to the museum by a house moving company with the move paid by the city. All had been displayed for many years at the Church Street Station entertainment complex. The moves were via highway and were around 120 miles.

The cars are an HWT SAL diner, a UP dome car and ex-C of G sleeper-obs Monte Rosa. All need extensive restoration with the Monte Rosa in the best condition.

The 3749 is undergoing a cosmetic restoration by volunteer members.

The 3 B&O wagon top box cars were bought and moved by one of the museum members and belong to him, not the museum. All need restoration.

I'm curious where you saw the video of the movement of the cars as I produced a video of that and also one of moving the locomotive for the museum.
