The former CP unit was repainted in Pennsy colors as 9880. The first test run was today.

This is not the ex-B&LE unit from Lansing. It is former CP and AMTL unit #1306 that was stored in Worthington, Ohio for several years.

It sounds like an FL9!!! Not very PRR-like.....

Interesting "what if" paint scheme. Except for the first two ABA sets received by PRR, which were painted TUSCAN RED with the 5 stripes, all the rest were painted in the freight scheme of Dark Green Locomotive Enamel with the single stripe. The PRR owned no green 5 stripe FP7's. Still, looks sharp!

Mr. Myles is a dedicated Red Team member. He has, and I suspect will continue to, paint his equipment in tasteful variations of PRR paint. It should be noted the work being done before the paint is sprayed is of high quality. His CNJ coaches are fantastic specimens even if they are red. This line is one to watch. - Rob

Texas State Railroad has a Canadian National FP9 (ex LTEX 6308) that will be repainted very soon (maybe later this month?). It is supposed to get Katy colors (red, silver, yellow).

They also have FP9 6302.

A neat event the Stourbridge is putting together, with the help of retired Steamtown Ranger Kenny (Anzio) Ganz.

I understood they were looking for a suitable steamer. Does the refurbished diesel mean that search is over?

Heck that looks better than the last time I saw her. And who doesn't love that lone Hancock. Just needs TrainLine antenna!

Also, with BLE 725 currently at Cleveland being worked on, I cannot wait to see her return to her BLE Orange as Tom has stated.

*Raises Hand*

I despise them - I've tried to pretend to like them, but I don't. Sorry.

Engine looks awesome though!

For an unit that is suppose to be red it looks awfully green to me in the video. Surprised at the sound of the Hancock... never heard one before and am pleased it has such a nice sound, way better than I was expecting.

I'm sure they are aware that Hancock air whistles are no longer legal under FRA guidelines. Not loud enough.
